She enrolled Ashley in the Pre-K program and encouraged her to participate in extracurricular activities. Ashley began taking dance classes at the center and wanted to learn more. |
A Story of One from The Early Learning Centers of LubbockLearn that help can come form the most unexpected sources For the past 12 years, Monnie Landmon supervised the Professional Maintenance janitorial crews who cleaned four of the ELC's childcare centers, so she was very much aware of the condition of the buildings, plumbing, etc. In February, 2010, Monnie asked the board if she could raise funds to be used to renovate four centers. |

His grandfather was an Elder in the Salvation Army church in Lubbock where Alton attended Sunday school. Later, during the early 1940's, Alton's family was able to reclaim financial stability after staying at the Amarillo Salvation Army for several days while his father searched for a job. |

Only two percent of scouts achieve the Eagle Scout rank, one of the program's most desired ventures. Jonathan started with Boy Scouts when he was eleven, looking for adventure and outdoor activities. When he first joined four years ago, he was ready for new experiences and looked forward to making lasting friendships. |
