Childrens Home Sosnovka, Russia

(Sosnovka Internat)

Some call it an Orphanage, others call it School for Children, or International School for Children, but we like to call it Children’s Home.  It is a home in Sosnovka, Russia for children whose parents, for one reason or another, have been unable (and in some cases unwilling) to care for them.

They have a very dedicated Director and Staff who are willing to “go the extra mile” for the children, and to do whatever they can to make life for the children pleasant and comfortable.

They get funds from State Agencies.  But, as is usually the case for state-funded activities, funds just don’t stretch far enough; so they need other help.

The children at the Home craft many items by hand, both needlework and woodwork.  If you make a donation to the Home you may receive a crafted item made by the children.  Please help!

If you would like to donate please leave a message at Contact Us on this website, www.bentleypublications.com. Thank you.

Alyosha

Bone surgery on Alyosha's club foot.

The lad you see in the picture on the website is Alyosha.  He lives at the Children’s Home in Sosnovka, Russia.  He is disabled from birth.

He has been operated on in Kivov, Russia, and has now returned to the Home in Sosnovka. His foot is in a cast and will be for a while. We anxiously await more details of the operation. Will inform as firm information is received.

Well, folks, judge for yourselves whether the operation was a success or not!

Some might say it is a miracle; we say that it was Godly folks praying, and being willing to help a young Lad in Sosnovka, Russia! We especially want to give our thanks and deep appreciation to the Russian doctors that performed the operation, and to all the young associates of Alyosha that tirelessly visited and cared for him while he recovered! Not a miracle; but,

Folks, this is Love in its purest form!

Thank you,
